Dear Family,
I am clear away from all the riots. There was supposed to be one here, but there were way too many police for anyone to do anything. Plus, everyone in city center loves us! I hope. Last transfer, the missionaries went over car miles so we have had to park the car for several days this week. I felt like I was back in Chelmsford, walking everywhere. This week we went to both of our zones district meeting. I gave a training on working with the ward. I love teaching, especially when I am teaching young missionaries helping find the right way. I cannot believe that I have made it to this point. God has truly been on my side from the start. One cool experience that we had this week happened on Wed. We had the baptisms of Michael and Kelly. My companion and WML baptized while I conducted. During the program, Elder Hales and I sang teach me to walk in the light. While we sang, Kelly started to cry, luckily, Elder Hales and I looked away to keep from tearing up. They are so solid. They got confirmed this past Sunday. Ever since I got here, there have been many crazy Sunday meetings, but this week was different. Everything just flowed. I guess as missionaries, it is easy to pick out weird things that are just not right. Sunday is pretty stressful because we want everyone to really feel the spirit. Yesterday was amazing. I taught gospel principles using 2 eggs, Elder Hales and I gave our testimonies, and one of our recent converts blessed sacrament. Bliss.
Today, we are going to some kind of Filipino gathering! Halo-Halo!
