Dear family,

Good to hear all of the miracles happening back home. I hope everyone is well. Right now, these past couple of weeks have gotten really busy. We have been preparing our trainings for new missionaries, looking for new flats, helping struggling missionaries out, and definitely searching for new people to teach. I have no idea where the time is going. I cannot believe that this transfer ends next week.

This week we will be teaching a couple more chinese students. Bless China!

On the weekend, we were able to travel up North to stay in a members guest house for a couple of days, so that we could visit some of the members who struggle making it all the way down to church in Norwich.

One of the families we visited were a ways away in a small village. They are getting up there in age and their health is deteriorating, but my goodness, their faith has not. When we got there, all I could feel was the love that was in the home. They spoke about how they want to go to church, but they are physically incapable. Although they are restricted to come to church, they still keep up the faith by reading/praying/everything daily. I absolutely adore them. After which, we sang her a song because that was something that she dearly missed. Later we gave them both blessings.

How often do we forget the conditions that we live in Today and take everything for granted. I know this family will be greatly rewarded in this life, but also through the Eternities.

Dear Family,

There is a quote that I read often and it is given to us by President Monson. He says, "Life is full of difficulties, some small, and others of a more serious nature. There seems to be an unending supply of challenges for one and all. Our problem is that we often expect instantaneous solutions to such challenges, forgetting that frequently, the heavenly virtue of patience is required."

These past couple of months have been so much fun, watching new missionaries progress, and observing the different abilities of each individual, but there is often a case where a few missionaries forget their purpose. The opportunity I have to help them remember is incredible, but sometimes it is frustrating. In many instances, I have the desire to lash out, and start exhorting them because of their disobedience and diligence, but I take a second to think and then speak with love. What is happening to me?!?!

All I know, is that if the Savior stood beside me, I would want to be the best example that I can be. In these different situations, I just have to remember, the love and patience Jesus Christ had and still has for me. I know He lives.

Dear Family,

We are currently finding new people to prepare for baptism. We will extend a couple of dates this next week.

The other day, we had stake conference and we had about 6 investigators at church. One of them was named Freddie. We met him a couple of months ago, and ever since, he has not been able to come to church. He is my number one source for Manny Pacquiao updates because he loves him like a brother. We see him in town every once and a while and he gives us updates and we invite him to church, but he often times is working or busy with family. The other day we said we would call him to invite to church, and when we called, he was excited and was waiting for our call. On Sunday, he brought himself and his wife.

Conference is usually two hours, and Freddie said that he would stay for one, but he stayed for the whole thing. At the end, right before he went home, we asked him a couple of questions, like what he enjoyed. He said, " I like how all of the children are free."

I love the Church because it is totally family oriented. I know that through the Gospel if Jesus Christ, families are eternal.

I think others are of some fantastic baptisms and our favorites, Chinese dinners. I am so pro at using chopsticks.

Dear Family,

Today we just got beaten by a bunch of University students. Missionaries 2, Chinese students 1.... I think that my feet are full of blisters. Tomorrow is going to be so much fun walking around in the city...but anyways, before football, we had zone meeting. All of the trainings were so much fun. | am so excited for all of the work overs we will have with the missionaries in this zone because they are all full of spirit and faith. I am going to learn so much from them all.

Thursday was legendary! We have this investigator who we have been working with for a little while, and we are starting to see so much progress with him. The other day, we taught him about making and keeping goals. Our RC was there as well and he was testifying of everything we said. We initially were going to watch a dvd, but the player did not work, so we relied on the spirit and focused on our back up plan. It was the best lesson ever. For the whole thing we basically, quoted sayings from past Prophets and Apostles. One of my favorites was- A wise man once said, "If you want to eat rice properly, you must use both chop sticks."

This past transfer has made me a pro in eating with chopsticks. I love our recent converts Michael and Kelly. When we go over to their house, I feel like I am at home.

I am so blessed to be out serving my heavenly father.
