Dear Family,

I am completely knackered. this week drained me to the bone. It feels so good.

This week has been so busy. Traveling all over the place with different kinds of meetings and appointments. This next week will be the same as well. We will be having a couple work overs with different missionaries in the zone. Over the past week, the whole zone has been seeing miracles in their own areas. There have been an increase in investigators, baptismal dates and the whole shabang. Elder Hales and I are not doing too shabby ourselves. We will have two baptisms this week and we have a couple new solid investigators.

One thing that I have grown to love are trials. There are so many days where sometimes we feel like everyone in the city is against us. From, anti-mormons, to rude people, it comes and nails us everyday, but we always keep up the faith. After these events come to pass, there is always a positive to show that it is all good.

The other night, when we were getting the numbers from the zone for the week, we took out our couch and ate sunflower seeds and drank root beer. We managed to get onto the base and buy a couple of things, but that was a crazy adventure. We were able to get on fine, but when we went to check out, the lady said that we had to have some kind of voucher, because you are retired, we then went to the office, but it was closed. all the while we found some members that wanted to help us out if the cashier was being dodgy. Luckily, we talked to the supervisor and she said she would let us off this once. Apparently, I am not allowed to buy anything.....
Whatever, we will find our means to get American food again!

Love,
Elder Resolme

Mng Nikki, I got your e-mail, and I will send you post soon. Good luck with Mike!?!?!.......
Oh yea, Elder Castro is doing good. I got an email from him the other day. He is a trainer!

Dear Family,

Norwich is amazing. There are so many people to talk to in the city center. I have had so much fun finding and teaching here in Norwich. Our teaching pool is building and we are seeing miracles happen everyday.
Mom, you would be so proud. We cleaned our flat today and it looks fresh. Right now we are about to go to Thetford for a workover with a couple of new missionaries. Hopefully, we will be able to get on the military base so we can buy some food! This week will go by so fast. We have 3 workovers with missionaries in the zone and we have zone conference later on this week. So much to do, so little time.

The other day we spoke to a man from India. We talked about the purpose of life and he wanted to learn more. We walked and talked to the park where we taught him about our role as missionaries. He has been looking for people to help him gain a stronger relationship with Christ. We will see him again this week.
There are miracles happening each day. We just have to recognize them.

Love,
Elder Resolme

These pictures are of members in my old area. Oh I have loved serving as a missionary in Chelmsford. I think there is also a picture of baptismal forms that I filled out when I gave my first couple interviews. Hmm, what else is on there. There might be a picture of a couple of missionaries and I in a train. It took us around 3 hours to get to our new area. I do not know what else is on there.....

Jared wasn't able to write much of an e-mail the past couple weeks, but one of his companions sent us this sweet e-mail. Enjoy!

Hello Resolme family,

My name is Hales. I am guessing right now you wondering why isn't my son writing this email. Elder Resolme, bless his heart went on a companion exchange with another missionary in our zone. He wasn't able to email you this week, so he wanted to say a few words......

Brother and Sister Resolme, your son is fantastic, and he is serving in a fantastic area. WE are are in Norwich, it is often called..... A fine City. You son and I are really getting along like peas and carrots. He is quite a missionary, some might say a BEAST. I really enjoy serving with him, you should be very proud of him, and all of his hard work here in england.

We are teahing quite a few investigators here in Norwich, in fact we had a baptism this last Sunday. WE are expecting a few more in the next weeks. We teach a lot of Chinese students here, It is a grand area.

Well, I hope you are have a fantastic week. Don't wory about your son... he is in good hands.

I hope to meet you someday in the future.

Dear Family,

These past couple of weeks have been all about finding. We are putting all our efforts into finding new people to teach. Everyday, we march through town finding those who are prepared to hear a message of happiness. Mhhmmm happiness! It is sad to hear those whom we speak to say that they are not interested in hearing about how they can attain a greater sense of peace and joy. Because everyone is on holiday, we have the opportunity to talk to many people in town. All we do is walk and talk, walk and talk. My shoes have been wearing out, that is why I bought a new pair the other day, but I know that my shoes will stay fresh because I will not be walking so much next transfer.

Yesterday we had our last Chelmsford district meeting. It was pretty sad to know that it was our last one, but we definitely made the best of it. We had trainings given by our two new missionaries and then myself. I love teaching, I am not the best, but I have improved in leaps and bounds. After District meeting we went to nandos and had some chicken. It was delicious. We all then parted our ways to do some work in our various areas. As we found, the sun was beating upon us, and it was making me sweat like a mad man. As we got through our schedule, we went to the Futters for dinner. We had more amazing chicken!>!>! One funny thing about yesterday as well, was that it was moves calls. Everyone predicted that I would leave, but I had yet to receive a call from president... While we were walking from our dinner appointment to our last lesson of the day, our phone rang! I picked up the mobile and president patch assigned me to a new zone. Now I will be serving in the Norwich zone with Elder Hales. He is from Utah and we are going to have a beast of a time.

I cannot believe that I will be leaving Chelmsford/Maldon. I have left a piece of my heart in each area, and the chunk that I will leave here will be pretty big. The members are the best, and they welcomed me in like a son. This area was much of learning and growing, especially in prayer. The Lord has a new assignment for me, and I know that as I work diligently, miracles will happen. Plus, I know that I left the area in good hands. Elder Rimmer(my son)/Mavzomba will tear it up.I love the work. It is my spiritual high.

Love,

Elder Resolme

Oh yea. I got my patriarchal blessing the other day. Thank you
