Dear Family,
I am completely knackered. this week drained me to the bone. It feels so good.
This week has been so busy. Traveling all over the place with different kinds of meetings and appointments. This next week will be the same as well. We will be having a couple work overs with different missionaries in the zone. Over the past week, the whole zone has been seeing miracles in their own areas. There have been an increase in investigators, baptismal dates and the whole shabang. Elder Hales and I are not doing too shabby ourselves. We will have two baptisms this week and we have a couple new solid investigators.
One thing that I have grown to love are trials. There are so many days where sometimes we feel like everyone in the city is against us. From, anti-mormons, to rude people, it comes and nails us everyday, but we always keep up the faith. After these events come to pass, there is always a positive to show that it is all good.
The other night, when we were getting the numbers from the zone for the week, we took out our couch and ate sunflower seeds and drank root beer. We managed to get onto the base and buy a couple of things, but that was a crazy adventure. We were able to get on fine, but when we went to check out, the lady said that we had to have some kind of voucher, because you are retired, we then went to the office, but it was closed. all the while we found some members that wanted to help us out if the cashier was being dodgy. Luckily, we talked to the supervisor and she said she would let us off this once. Apparently, I am not allowed to buy anything.....
Whatever, we will find our means to get American food again!
Love,
Elder Resolme
Mng Nikki, I got your e-mail, and I will send you post soon. Good luck with Mike!?!?!.......
Oh yea, Elder Castro is doing good. I got an email from him the other day. He is a trainer!
