Just a side note to all of you who haven't heard, Elder Resolme is scheduled to come home August 9! August 11 will be his welcome home celebration, we hope you can make it!
Dear family,
A couple of days ago we taught a young family a proper lesson zero and then we spoke a bunch about Filipino food! The father of the family is from the PI but moved to England as a young boy. It was really fun to be able to speak about the Filipino culture once more! We will be seeing them again tomorrow. We also have a baptism coming up in a couple of weeks. We are really excited for her. She is a single mother named Zoe, and although she is yet a member, she bore her testimony at fast and testimony meeting. It was lovely. My companion and I too bore our witness of the truthfulness of the gospel, and I taught tithing in GP class.
On Saturday we attended the ward party in celebration of the Queens diamond Jubilee. We had a few investigators come and during the activity, my companion and I played basketball against some ward members.
Other things that happened this week..
-taught a Jehovah witness in the town. she was cool and quite the insightful young lady (Jazzmin)
-I bought ear plugs because my companion snores like a mad man.
- ate chicken yesterday
and miracles daily.
Love,
Elder Resolme
If there is an opportunity, please send my condolences for grandma Carmen. I feel that one of the greatest things about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is that it gives us hope not only for the end of mortality, but beyond.
Tell Derrick I will be back soon.
