Dear Family,
It was fun to talk with you on Sunday. Hope you had a fantastic mothers day!
Yesterday, we had our transfer calls. I still have the assignment to stay here in CHelmsford, but Elder Santoro, my Italian compadre, is going to the Watford Zone. It has to be in like some country place. My new companion will be Elder Wing, from Utah. He was in the same group as Elder Santoro.
I have a terrible memory, I probably should start writing in my journal, because i keep on forgetting what happened over the past week.
-One cool thing that happened was when we had a step in with a man named Matt, on a bench beside the river Chelmer. It was great! He is a musician and we shared our beliefs. He travels all the time for music and such, but he said we could pop by his home anytime. He lives right next to the church.
-I also gave another talk. It was on the Book of Mormon! Funny thing is , I had round two of the audio not working. Luckily Maldon Ward is quiet, therefore I did not have to yell.
-We also lifted some weights with a LA. We made a deal, if we came to lift, he would come to church. We lifted last week and he came, and we lifted Yesterday! I am pretty sore right now. I am so out of shape. For all those prospective missionaries, follow the schedule and exercise in the morning. You will not regret it.
-On Sunday, I was also able to see a person I met in Utah a couple years ago. It was good to meet up with him and see how he is doind. His name is Tim and he is from Bristol. Good Times.
I love the Book of Mormon. Every time I read it, something new pops up and the stories are amazing. The great thing about it is, that it is all true. The book contains historical
accounts of living prophets. I strongly encourage you to read this Book every day. I will give you the promise of Joseph Smith, as talked about in the Introduction. As you read, you will get nearer to God. Fact. I testify of it.
Love,
Elder Resolme
