Dear Family,

Last night was moves calls. Elder Adler and I are staying in Norwich together for another transfer and we are going to tear this zone apart. We have had a couple baptisms over these past two weeks and we are peparing others to also make their covenants.

Hopefully, I will be sending some letters in the post soon.

The other day I was on a workover with a new missionary in Kings Lynn. We taught a LA in the morning and he basically said that he could not come to church. He could not give us a reason why and then we related to him the story of brother Moyle from the Doctrine and Covenants dvds. He sacrificed everything to go to Zion from England, and to cut the story short, his leg got cut off while called to be a stonecutter at the Salt Lake temple. Although he had no leg, he fulfilled his call to serve by walking 22 miles everyday until he passed away. This less active brought up all of these excuses like, he has to walk about a mile or two to church, or his back hurt, and even, "the weather is terrible." We then brought up the sacrifices of brother Moyle like, he walked 22 miles to the temple, he had one leg, and "it snows in Utah!" It was so funny, because he was stumped everytime. I found out that this less active came to church the next Sunday.

Dear Family,

We just finished playing football with a bunch of students at the university. By small and simple things, small and simple things..... If there were a highlight reel on UEA football, I totally would have a couple of good segments. The next time we play will be next Monday, and hopefully we will be able to get them to church and institute. We will be having some baptisms over the next two weeks, so I will keep you posted. We just recently had a leadership meeting and one thing that President emphasised once again was the definition of the best leaders. The best leader: 1. Knows the most 2.Practices what he/she preaches 3.shares knowledge with everyone I know that the leaders we have in the church are called of God. The leaders I have in the England London Mission are the best.

Dear Family,

I am still currently working on the numbers for the zone. All of these spreadsheets are so time consuming. Life is busy and fun. This past week, I had a workover in Yarmouth with Elder Bensige(Sweden) and we had a step-in lesson on the beach with three young adults. I ran my fingers through the sand and caught an image of San Diego. MMhhmmm. Bliss.

Dear Family,

There have been so many changes and distractions this week. Ward boundary changes, sick missionaries, responsibility, and mentality have all been jumbled. Work is still going strong here in Norwich and we are expecting a couple baptisms in the next few weeks. My favorite changes are the ones that happen in the hearts of those we teach. They keep my spirits high. Sorry, I do not have enough time. I will write next week!

Dear family,

I love you. Work is going well. Time is flying by like always. Please pray for our friend Charles. He is supposed to get baptized this week, but he is having a couple of complications with his family. Miracles happen, we just have to ask for them.Plus, is it not better to have many people working for the same cause, rather than just a couple? Thank you.

Dear Family, This past week has been so funny. Hmm. where to start? It was another day talking to people in the city and I found a person who truly wanted to know why there were so many churches out there, I assured him that there is a specific reason and that we would be able to share it with him in his home. He found comfort in what was spoken and accepted have us over the next week in his home. As I finished speaking with him, Elder Hales come up t me and tells me that we are going to teach a lady in Cafe Nero, so we walk over and he tells me she is a little strange.... As we walk up the stairs of this coffee shop, we see her and we introduce ourselves. She actually bought us a couple of drinks and then we started talking about the church. This is a long story, but to cut everything short- - I was writing in my planner details about the guy I just spoke to and she accused us of being somekind of police. -She invited us to go clubbing because we looked alright. -She drank my drink. -She got really upset, I have no understanding why, and she sat at another table and said she was not with us. -Then! she got up, smiled and picked up a cup of ice and started trying to put ice down our shirts!!!. Hahaha, it was hilarious, my companion was flustered and tried to resist a little, and luckily the ice fell out. Then she came to me, and I could not even bother because she was proper mental, but like previously, the ice did not go in. -We basically walked up and left, but before, Elder Hales asked if we could pay for the drinks. She, with no hesitation, said yes. Then we looked at each other and realized we did not have any money........ He then told here we would buy her a drink the next time we see her. Later that day, we taught another guy in Cafe Nero. Just like the first, a proper mental. We concluded that we would teach far away from that shop. Last night, we also had a little get together with a couple recent converts and their friends. Michael and Kelly got baptized last month and they are so solid. We had a traditional Chinese dinner with them and it was so good. That night we also realized that Elder Hales is being transferred. My new companion will be Elder Adler from Germany. He was in my MTC group. I love reading the scriptures. Right now I am going over the acts of the apostles in the new testament. They are great missionaries that we can all learn a great deal from. Dear Family,

HEY SARIAH! HOW IS SCHOOL? TELL ME ABOUT IT! HAVE FUN!

Here are some pictures from the past week.

One of the pictures is of the city center that we oym in everyday. There are so many people that are just ripe to listen, but at the same time there are others who are so SOUR! Since we talk to people in the city all the time, we have made some friends with a couple of the people that advertise. We just took a picture with Shauna a couple of minutes ago. She is super nice, and it is fun to talk to her about her different ideas and understandings concerning doctrine.

The other pictures are with other missionaries. the Asian one is Elder Park. He is from South Korea and he is hilarious. Not only is he hilarious,but he is the first missionary from South Korea to serve in England! What an honor.

This past week was chalk full of spiritual experiences. A little while ago, President announced that there was going to be a leadership meeting inLondon. When we got there, we realized that not only was the leadership of the mission there, but all of the sisters were there as well. Finally, we were told that Elders/Whitney L. Clayton, Curr, Kapishka, and their wives were going to be addressing us. We shook their hands and listened to their powerful testimonies and insights. One of the sayings that stood out to me was something along the lines of, " understand that people are not rejecting you when you stand on their doorstep, they are rejecting eternity. They have their choice whether or not they accept." I could be on this computer for hours just writing about that leadership meeting, but I cannot. Hopefully I remember to write you or tell you all about it later.

One of the things that we do each month, is we get with some of the district leaders and make goals of things that we can all implement in the zone to progress. One of the goals we came up with is called "fantastafasting". Each Saturday, we will fast for our investigators to help them out and get them through their trials. We all fasted on Saturday, sacrificing the natural for spiritual, and we attained an abundance in miracles.

-We planned to have our investigator and three of her friends from the university come to church, but in the end her Friends could not go. Right before we were about to leave, a previous investigator called and asked if she could get a ride. Luckily, we had not left and she brought along her friend. So she came as well as another person we are teaching. Fantastafasting works miracles. What a testimony builder. Throughout the zone, these types of miracles happened because of this wonderful goal.

I cannot say it enough. I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!
